Ask and you shall receive. My name is Ricardo Castro. I was
born in San Jose, California on October 27, 1970. I am the oldest
of three children born to parents who immigrated from Mexico. In
1984 we uprooted and moved to Kansas City, Missouri. I first
began to write poetry as a way to express my feelings. I find it
easier to say things on paper than to express them verbally. All
of my poetry is an extension of my feelings and is not intended
to offend anyone.
